Entrepreneurs help nations and societies grow. They are self-employed and are their own bosses; they provide living to their families and relatives; they create jobs to the general public; and they pay taxes to help their governments perform their duties.
Entrepreneurs are the people who divided this world into developed, developing, and under-developing nations. We bet you heard many times the phrase emerging markets, and now, more than ever, from the media that China will soon replace the US as the world’s most powerful nation—powerful not because of military muscle and weaponry but economically. The countries that are today called emerging markets—China, India, Brazil, or Turkey for example—are called emerging markets because of their business attractiveness and consumer consumption. This another reason why entrepreneurship is important for the growth of countries and societies.
Our Approach to Entrepreneurship Development
Designing an entrepreneurship course requires to fulfill two important aspects. First, it should be based on the general business principles. Second, it should be practical and applicable to the local business environment to be effective.
We designed our course to comply with both aspects of entrepreneurship. First, it is based on the general and best business principles and practices. Second, it is tailored for the local market: Somalia.
